Buukhuu Osorgarav is the Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Mongolia. Mr Osorgarav founded Ulaanbaatar Audit Corporation in 1999 and has lead the audit firm into a multi-functional professional services firm providing audit, tax, and advisory services to leading domestic and multinational companies. Ulaanbaatar Audit Corporation is a member of Grant Thornton International since 2017.
Osorgarav is an acknowledged leader in business and tax advisory services and enjoys a reputation of a highly respected professional on the market. He has awarded as “The honored economist of Mongolia” in 2008. He is an active member of business associations and serves as a member of the board of directors of Mongolian Mortgage Corporation and a member of the audit board of Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Osorgarav has vast experience in managing complex, national and multinational client assignments. He specialises in auditing, with areas of financial statement audit, financial accounting advisory services, IFRS, fraud investigation and dispute services. He has expertise in tax advisory services, with areas of tax policy and controversy, transaction tax, tax compliance and reporting, and indirect tax.
Throughout his career Osorgarav has led large-scale assignments for clients in public sector, including such IFIs as the World Bank, ADB, EBRD, UN and others, as well as private sector, from such industries as financial services, telecommunications, energy, agriculture, food and beverage production, wholesale trade/distribution, construction, transport, hospitality, mining and others.
Osorgarav holds Master's degree in Business Administration from the Mongolian University of Science and Technology.
